The picturesque cooking fires of the various chefs selling their Zanzibari cuisine in the evening along the beach of Stone Town, is an absolute must to indulge in.
Then of course there are the sandy, palm-fringed beaches with spectacular hotels and lodges on the East Coast, which offer untouched, wide, white sand beaches and beautiful turquoise sea.
One needs a very good understanding of all the lodges and hotels available and what they offer in order to find the perfect fit.
