The ultimate Outdoor Cooler Box
Built to last
You always get air into a cooler box – even with a fridge. Turn off your fridge and see how quickly it gets warm inside. That’s why ice always dissolves.
The big advantage of this no nonsense tough plastic Romer cooler box – especially designed and manufactured in South Africa for strenuous safari and outdoor expeditions, is that the lid fits in far deeper into the box and has an extra seal in the lid. Also, a high density heat stabilising foam inlay between the inner and outer walls of the box ensures that the cooler box keeps its temperature far longer than any other cooler box on the market. The ice water that forms in the box after a while has almost the same temperature as the ice – thus you don’t have to dispose of all the water inside – let it keep your precious beers below covered and longer cool. You require much less ice than other cooler box on the market. These padlock lockable boxes come in a Safari green and Kalahari sand colours, apart from a light grey in 65L, 45L and 40L.
The September 2013 Drive Out magazine tested all the cooler boxes on the market and the Roemer cooler box was found “the Best Value for Money”
The Getaway Magazine – October 2013: “… It also outdid the others in the ice test.”
The SA Hunting and Conservation Association through its magazine editor tested the cooler box extensively: “We have tested this cooler box for some months now and came away highly impressed with its superior qualities. We put the cooler box through its paces during hunting trips to Namibia, the Free State and Limpopo and deliberately abused it to test its durability. We should never have questioned that – it passed all the tests with flying colours. And yes, it did indeed keep ice for several days”!!
The Go Magazine –March 2014: “This locally made box was hands down the best performer in the ice test and blew the competition away in almost every other respect”
The Cooler box has also found its worth up in remote Africa where it is now regularly used by many lodges and safari companies in several African countries, also for the transport of perishable foodstuff over long distances.
